Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course (Full Course)

In the Nissan GTP class at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Gabri Martinez dominated the field by leading all 33 laps from pole position to secure the victory. While Martinez maintained a clean race with only a single incident, the race for the remaining podium spots was defined by attrition. Ferran S. Grau initially emerged as the primary challenger to Martinez, running as high as second place and battling at the front for 11 laps. However, Grau’s race ended prematurely when he crashed out of contention; he ultimately finished in 10th place with four recorded incidents. Josefine Becker, who started from third, capitalized on the field's instability to finish in second place despite accumulating six incidents. Tobias Röhner rounded out the podium in third, though he struggled with consistency, recording 10 incidents over the course of his 32 completed laps. In the Audi 90 GTO class, Joni Hagner successfully converted a pole position start into a race win, completing 31 laps with two incidents. Hagner maintained control throughout the event, finishing ahead of Noel Luneburg, who started second and maintained that position to take second place with six incidents. Andreas Schuster completed the podium in third, finishing one lap down from the leaders while managing a clean race with only one incident. The event was marked by significant struggles for several drivers, leading to a high volume of incidents throughout the field. Andrew Peddie recorded the highest incident count of the race with 15, while Gabriel Berger followed with 14. Ilkka Kotisalo and Torsten Eisenträger also faced difficult outings, recording 12 and 10 incidents respectively. These high incident totals across the grid highlight the technical challenges presented by the Mid-Ohio circuit during this IMSA Vintage Series round.
